Overview
The Talons are a brand-new weapon type introduced in Nioh 3, featuring razor-sharp claws that deliver the fastest multi-hit combos of any weapon in the game. While the Cestus focuses on Ki damage, these claws excel at raw HP damage through sheer volume of hits — a single combo can land 10 or more individual strikes in rapid succession. The Talons scale with Heart, providing excellent Ki recovery to sustain the weapon's demanding attack chains. In Nioh 3, they are designed for maximum aggression — their short range forces you into the enemy's face, but the overwhelming speed of attacks means most enemies cannot retaliate through the constant pressure. Combined with Ninja-style Mist evasion, this weapon creates an untouchable whirlwind of claws that tears through both regular enemies and bosses alike. The Talons reward fearless, mechanically skilled players who can maintain point-blank pressure.

Moveset Guide
The Talons' core combo is an extended multi-hit chain — keep pressing attack to continue the barrage, which accelerates with each successive hit
Razor Barrage (連爪撃) is the ultimate skill — a blazing-fast multi-hit combo that deals massive damage in under two seconds
The aerial combos are devastating — use Mist upward to launch into the air, then rain down rapid strikes for safe damage from above
Attacks have built-in interrupt potential — the sheer speed of hits can stagger enemies out of their own attack animations
After a Mist dodge through an enemy attack, immediately unleash a full combo from behind — the rear position gives extra damage and safety
